Through a Herbacin product test, I received a well-filled package with various hand creams, an Intensive Moisture Cream, and an Intensive Moisture Body Lotion.
I was excited to try the products, as they are said to combine traditional plant-based ingredients with innovative formulation technologies for the best possible results.
However, upon closer inspection, I noticed that 4 out of the 5 products contain silicone (dimethicone). In my opinion, this doesn’t belong in a hand cream.
Even if this ingredient may be more cost-effective in production than purely natural or more skin-friendly alternatives, I was disappointed by these creams.
Maybe I’ll find someone who doesn’t mind applying silicone-based products to their skin—but for me, it’s definitely not an option.
