The Herbacin brand store in Eisenach is celebrating 10 eventful years this year. During the anniversary week, customers can enjoy a variety of special offers and birthday promotions.
On July 12, 2012, the doors on Querstraße opened for the very first time. Ten years later, soft guitar sounds fill the shopping street in Eisenach – coming from the entrance of the Herbacin brand store.
On the morning of July 12, 2022, long-standing customers, business partners, and collaborators gathered to celebrate this milestone together with Herbacin’s management team. The mayor of Wutha-Farnroda, Jörg Schlothauer, also personally shared his congratulations and expressed his appreciation: “I’m very pleased that Herbacin, as a heritage brand since 1905, has remained loyal to our region despite its global success.” During the anniversary week through July 16, 2022, customers can enjoy discounts of up to 15% along with many additional in-store activities.
Over the past 10 years, the Herbacin brand store has become a destination for loyal customers of the heritage brand, for fans of high-quality herbal skincare, and for visitors looking to discover authentic products from Thuringia.

“Our customers value the product selection available in-store, the expert support, the personal exchange, and the opportunity to try our herbal skincare,” say Sabine Kühnel and Katrin Wenig, who found a new professional home at the Herbacin brand store after the closure of Schlecker and will also celebrate their 10-year anniversary in October.
Even challenges such as the fire on Querstraße or temporary closures during the COVID-19 lockdowns did not diminish the store’s success. “On the contrary, our regular customers were very happy to finally return and stock up on their favorite care products – from hand cream to bath foam,” says Herbacin advisor Kühnel.
Although Herbacin products from Wutha-Farnroda are available in major retail chains and through the online shop, the brand remains committed to its physical stores.
“This is where the value of our herbal skincare can truly be experienced with all the senses. Fragrance, texture, compatibility – all of this is difficult to replicate online. And the in-depth support from our trained staff is a real advantage, as not every product suits every skin type,” explains Caroline Wetterau. It’s no surprise, then, that additional brand stores in Erfurt and Frankfurt am Main followed the success of the Eisenach location on Querstraße.
